Waterfront Retreat with Pool & Gulf Access

Let me start by saying that the house was quite a nice home (not well appointed). We have rented quite a bit through VRBO and unfortunately this was without question the most disappointing. We essentially based the rental decision on the pool and hot tub. That said, the pool and hot tub had absolutely no heat as described the temperature was at 64 degrees completely unsuitable for anything. The heat pump was inoperative and a new one was delivered on the next to last day of our stay. In fact, the installer pulled up as we were departing the property. Additionally, we had no television nor WiFi for the first 2 1/2 days. However, Christian did stay in touch and dispatched Xfinity to fix the WiFi and a pool repair team came 4 days into our stay that’s when the diagnosis of the defective heat pump was revealed. To be completely honest had the pool and hot tub been operational I would have without hesitation given them 5 stars. This was a wasted trip with our main gating factor was null and void. Christian did mention that he would give us a cost adjustment based on the catastrophic failure of our objective. However, he has yet to communicate that topic to us. Should everything be fixed I probably wouldn’t hesitate to rent from them again. For any future renters desiring a heated pool and hot tub insure it is completely checked prior to renting.
